Educationally this game is great for developing motor skills and coordination. With this in mind, operating the toy is quite easy - my son was able to figure out the functions on the robot and the remote with minimal assistance and supervision.
Most of these products were mediocre in most regards. We're not huge fans of Disney, however, my son did see the film Wall-E on dvd.
I've purchased quite a few remote control toys for my 5yr old son. There is a level of sophistication and simplicity in the design.
He loved it so much that I decided to purchase the toy as I like the idea of remote control toys and hoped this would be a positive experience. By far, this is the most superior remote control product I've ever purchased.
As the instructions indicate, make sure your child does not pick up the toy by any of the movable parts which includes Wall-e's head and arms. Definitely a well-manufactured, well designed, impressive product.
my son loves this toy one day he put it in our back yard were hard mud so we ran it and it works and we also put in our rocks it works and the grass and it works to and my son loves it
If there is a way to turn Wall-E's volume down, I have not found it.Wall-E is an OK toy, but he is too loud.
I got this for my 7 year old son for Christmas and he loves it. The remote control works well and he likes to program Wall E's different actions. As others have said, it doesn't work well on carpet, but it doesn't claim to. Great product for the price.
Although this toy is a year or two too old for my four year old (the controls can be complicated and you cant carry Wall-E by his head or arms), he enjoys it immensely, especially after seeing the movie again. The toy itself is well made. My son has a blast with it and cant wait to show it off to whoever comes through the door. I highly recommend it for a 4 yo with supervision or 5 - 99 yo without.
